Hey lovelies! I’m Dani, the founder of Dani Ricci Fitness.

My  journey started when I was really struggling physically and mentally due to stress related issues caused mainly by work and other life circumstances.

I went through a gallbladder removal surgery, and right after developed several rare dermatological issues and was diagnosed with several gastric conditions which restricted me from eating almost anything for more than 6 months… and all due to STRESS!

I had been already working in Banking full-time for quite a while, with very long hours and huge amounts of stress… which meant little-to-no time for the gym, unhealthy dinners at the office, binge eating during the weekends… a very unhealthy lifestyle that kick-started issues in my gastric system and also psychological issues like low self-esteem, feeling uncomfortable in my own skin, sadness… loads of not very nice feelings that unfortunately were becoming a normal part of my life.

I barely took any pictures in a bikini, not because I was ‘fat’, but because I wasn’t comfortable with how I looked… I felt insecure and unhealthy.

I realised I had not been giving my body and my mind the attention and time that they deserved, and I was paying the price for it. After the surgery, I lost almost 9 kg in less than 2 months… I was still not eating healthy (as I could barely eat anything really), still going to the emergency room almost twice a month, and my mind was in a really bad state at this point.

And that’s when I decided I was going to change how I felt about myself both physically and mentally and become the strongest, happiest and confident version of myself!

But I had NO IDEA where to start or what to do to see real change, I felt really lost. I kept doing all the IG influencers & YouTube workouts and I would just not see results in my body or my motivation…

Being ‘skinny’ does not necessarily mean being healthy… there is so much more behind being healthy and fit and looking good without sacrificing your health!

So I decided that I needed someone to actually guide me through the process of learning to train properly. Not just to train, but how to move better, to build strength, to lose weight, to fix movement pattern faults and ultimately get the results I was looking for.

I discovered that there was more to training than I ever realised. There is so much that goes into ‘slimming down & toning up’; it isn’t as simple as just following someone’s 28 day challenge, taking dangerous fat burners or putting yourself through an unsustainable diet for a week or two.

After seeing massive results in my own body, my strength, physique, mindset and self esteem, I realised that this is what I wanted to do: HELP PEOPLE LIKE YOU KICK-START YOUR OWN FITNESS AND HAPPINESS JOURNEY THROUGH MOVEMENT AND NUTRITION.

Handstands are one of my favorite things in the world – I can help you find out how fun they are!

Gymnastics & Bodyweight exercises have been some of my focuses – skills & technique filled sports are my favorite!

And this is why I decided to start this website and become the coach that I am today!

These days I help amazing men and women get into the best shape of their lives and recover their confidence and happiness by taking all of my experiences and distilling them into simple, easy to follow programs and one to one coaching.

My body & my mind have changed massively! The gym is now my sanctuary… a place to relax the mind  & take care of myself!
